I’m very proud to have developed the new logo and look and feel for the ‘Visit Pembrokeshire’ tourist board in Wales.
Graphic Design, Logo Design, Identity.
This project required something ‘a little different’. The client wanted a new logo that would reflect the ancient history, nature and creativity of the area. As well as encouraging repeat tourism they wanted to encourage a new, vibrant, younger crowd to come and experience all that the area could offer. The solution was to create an iconic symbol but in a new way. The Celtic connections soon came to life.
Creating Celtic Connections
The new identity had to invoke feelings that visitors took away with them. Feelings that Pembrokeshire was a caring, free spirited, diverse, vibrant and energetic part of Wales. It was said that Pembrokeshire has the potential to really change people’s lives. A lifetime connection was made.
Elevating kindred spirits
Working closely with the lead agency, I presented various logo options but it was obvious from the beginning that this free-spirited lively approach was exactly what the client was looking for. The design was developed to work across all promotional media giving Visit Pembrokeshire a bold consistent new look. As they say in Wales “Swydd ardderchog”.
