Storage? Yawn - just brown boxes and peoples old junk crammed into lock-ups. Creating a stand-out brand in a stale market sector.

I’ve always liked creating quirky ideas and seeing how far I could take them. I mean if you can sell insurance with a meerkat, then why not try a few things. Boxes? Boring and square. Box Monsters? Pretty cool. Big eyes, funny faces, how could that work as a brand? I created the logo for my fictional storage company and a brand project was born.

Getting Stuffed
First, I brought the Box Monster himself to life, and then just let him loose on the brand: he munched the corners of the stationery, chewed pencils and left his teeth marks across all the storage boxes. I carried on any way and created some visual language and support brand messages.

Box clever
This project was a great exercise in logo design and brand development. It gave me the opportunity to take an idea and develop it without the concern of a real world brief and the restrictions that can sometimes bring. If you like it and you’re interested in how I can create a brand for you, get in touch. I’m hungry for more.
