My client asked me to help create labels and packaging for a range of new Artisan Gins for The Oxford Artisan Distillery.

From bespoke repeating patterns and Victorian watercolour illustrations to Christmas gold foils and embossed finishes this project required attention to detail to add the luxury touches. Bottle designs were illustrated along with the label designs to add reality to the visual presentation.
Victorian Craft Movement
The Ver Viola Gin pea flower turns your cooling gin a pink or purple colour when tonic is added. To showcase this old-fashioned but interesting ingredient, designs based on the Victorian craft movement were explored. Creating floral patterns and watercolour paint effects for the typography were just a couple of options.
Working with Gin
My client and I worked together closely producing a number of different gin bottle labels and visuals. We developed the brand as we went and have produced design work for the main Oxford Artisan Gin brand as well as specific products such as Christmas Tree Gin and Oxford University Gins.
